The captain came through with two huge hits tonight as the Yanks took the series from the Rays. Pettitte was awesome once again pitching into the 8th. Brian Bruney is looking like the new 8th inning guy and Mo got the save. So on to the New Cathedral. Yogi is throwing out the first pitch in case you haven’t heard. I mean who else did you think it would be….well Carla Pavano will be in the house….just kidding. Anyway, although they’re only 5-4 I think this team has the making of a pretty good one although the loss of Nady will hurt them at some point. They seem to have role players which they’ve been missing since 2000. Like the Captain said after the game the season doesn’t really start until the Yankees play in the Bronx. Everything starts at noon tomorrow and you can see it virtually anywhere. Enjoy the eyes of the Universe….the Yankee Universe that is….on God’s team!
